I’m a Londoner by choice, not by birth. I moved here after university, and stayed because I think it’s the greatest city on earth! Over thirty years later I’m still finding out new things to see and do in London.
My favourite thing is sharing my love of our great city with others. Not just the well-known places, but the hidden corners, the quirky facts, the stuff that makes London special. I love talking about the people, the architecture, the open spaces, and the social history. You may just see a building, but I see a story to tell. A really interesting walking tour about the history of the newspaper industry in Fleet Street and so much more. Our guide, Jill, was excellent – she made it a fun walk and took us to places that are hiding in plain sight. I can thoroughly recommend this tour.

Really fun walking tour, focused on the history of printing and the news media around Fleet St, but with plenty of other historical asides. It’s an area that is pretty familiar to me as worked nearby and spent many hours in the various local pubs, but even so there were new things I hadn’t noticed before as well as a lot of context and history I was simply unaware of. Jill was a friendly and informative guide, and it was a fascinating way to spend the afternoon.

Fleet Street Walk
The Fleet Street walking tour was enjoyable & informative . The guide provided a very interesting commentary and was happy to answer any questions. It was a very hot day and the guide ensured the pace of the walk was manageable and found shaded areas to stop whenever possible . She didn’t try to provide too much information and by the end of the walk we felt much more knowledgeable about the area and looking forward to another guided walk in the future .

Fleet Street Walk

Fleet Street Walk
What a fascinating talk. Jill had so many interesting stories to tell that the hour and a half just flew by. Although I have lived in London all of my life, Fleet Street is not an area I know at all so I was enthralled by all of her knowledge. I highly recommend this walk.

All Change at Kings Cross Walking Tour
We had a great 4 hours tour of central London with Jill Dalton. She is very friendly and knowledgeable and we indeed enjoyed the stroll with her. Would definitely recommend and book again!!
