Clerkenwell & Islington and Borough of Camden Tour Guide
Daniel is a qualified tour guide who holds badges for the boroughs of both Camden and
Islington. He started working in museums at the age of 12 and today works at the National
Portrait Gallery. Daniel has worked at the British Museum, National Gallery, V&A and many
others. He volunteers at the Foundling Museum, London Canal Museum, London Local
Guiding Day and for several other institutions including the Association of Bloomsbury
Squares and Gardens. Daniel has a degree in art history and photography.
Daniel has a great love of the stories of kings and queens, social history, and how people
lived in the past. He is a great storyteller and loves to share an interesting tale.

I was really fascinated by the history and the beauty of the King’s Cross complex that I never suspected. Daniel , the guide, obviously loves the place and he manages to convey his enthusiasm to us. His explanations are very clear and his knowledge of the architectural and engineering developments is thorough. His personality made the walk most enjoyable.
