If you’re lucky enough to spend Christmas in London, you’re in for a treat. The city comes alive at this time of year, with markets, lights, and events to enjoy.
London’s Christmas Lights are recognised the world over for their artistic inventiveness across some of the city’s most iconic streets.
Explore London by night on this 90 minute guided Christmas walking tour, when we walk among the illuminated streets in all their glimmering splendour. We discover hidden passages, fashionable Mews and meticulously decorated designer shops accompanied by historical stories of those shopping and living in the area.
In addition to the visual spectacle you will discover the stories behind the lights, the award-winning window displays and some of the shops which made the West End what it is today.

I would love to join Hazel again next year for her 8th year of London Christmas lights walks and certainly earlier in the year for other options. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.

This was a wonderful walk through the London streets on a very cold but dry evening. Hazel was very knowledgeable and entertaining and informed us of how local businesses are being encouraged to light up their shop fronts, to make the area more attractive. There were lights everywhere, above, in front, to the side, in trees, on buildings, in the sky above, all different shapes, sizes and colours, too many to describe – you see so much more on foot than you would by driving or being on the bus. Hazel also pointed out the best places to take a photo from. If you get a chance do go and book this walk, you won’t be disappointed.

Thank you Hazel for an amazing walk we saw not only the main lights but ones around the back streets which you would normally miss unless you know where to look. Also Hazel gave a great insight into the history of the areas visited. Would thoroughly recommend.

The walk was well planned out and being a Monday night we were able to get around easily. The leader was informative and humorous and altogether it was a lovely walk seeing the lights of the city from a different prospective than you would probably see them if you walked on your own. What a delight! Even though it was a soggy night, bucketing down at times, Hazel kept us entertained & informed & even steered us safely away from the huge puddles. We were shown a fascinating range of Xmas lights, not just the well known ones ones but many an alley & square I hadn’t known existed. Hazel is really knowledgeable about all manner of things & what a star to even make us happy it was raining as we saw double lights in the reflections!!

This Christmas lights walk surpassed my expectations simply because Hazel covered so much ground and we got to see lights in places I’d never been to before. She was incredibly informative and had an anecdote for almost all the lights’ stops. She also gave us time to use our cameras even finding the best spot. Our walk exceeded 90 minutes which meant we got to see so much more. I’ve always chosen to see the lights myself but after Hazel’s tour I highly recommend you go with her because you’ll see so much more. Lovely lady and brilliant tour guide.

Hazel walked us the streets with beautiful Christmas light. We live in London and have worked in West end for many years but didn’t know the existence of the gems we were introduced to tonight. I did this and the Blackfriars walk, and filled in a few more pieces of the wonderful jigsaw that is London. Hazel is a friendly and informative guide, who researches all sorts of extra bits and pieces to add to the staples you’d expect from these sorts of walks. I now know more about London’s Xmas lights than I’ll ever need to know, from the price of the best-selling bauble in Selfridges to the number of gold and silver balls hanging in Oxford Street. A great job at keeping a very mixed group entertained, including my grandson, who had a fantastic night out whooping and wowing his way around the sights and lights of London’s west end. I definitely recommend Hazel as a guide and will be back for more.
