Yes, of course! We call our public walking tours guided walks as opposed to private tours (where you choose the date and time and have the tour guide all to yourself). Our public guided walks can be viewed here on our guided walks calendar. Simply click on the walk title in the walks calendar and book your tickets securely online. You’ll receive a booking confirmation by email with full details of when and where to meet the tour guide.
Yes please. This is the only way can get true numbers and accessibility requirements. Also, if there is an emergency or a walk is ever cancelled  it means we have the means by which to contact you.
This varies, usually between 12 and 15.
Your tour guide will be wearing a voice amplifier and will use it as and when the need arises.

Cancelling a walk is unlikely but then again, we are all human and illness does occur.

In the unlikely event that a walk ever has to be cancelled, your tour guide will give you as much notice as possible of this and contact you by the email used to make the booking. You will be offered either a full refund or the opportunity to transfer your booking to another date on the same or another walk.

We do leave promptly. Your London tour guide will be at the meeting place 10 mins before departure. Tour guides do not answer their phone once a tour has started. If you are able to call the office we will try to help you to catch up with the group. Please note no refunds or exchanges will be provided for no-shows or latecomers.
Your booking confirmation will inform you who your guide is with a link to their profile page. You can see all of our tour guides here.
Our guided walks are 90 minutes long.
Your tour guide will be wearing an orange lanyard and holding a London Guided Walks sign and will be at the designated meeting place 10 mins before the tour starts. You will also receive a link to your tour guide’s profile with a photo so you know what they look like!
Yes. All London tour guides have their own public liability insurance. It is important to stress that each participant is responsible for their own safety at all times and sensible clothing and footwear is expected. We may be a small island but we can have all four seasons in a day!
Whilst we like to say that all of our guided walks in London are dog friendly, we do suggest owners consider how their dog/s will behave on a guide’s walk, in a group of strangers in an urban environment. It’s worth considering those attending the walk who may not like dogs, yes, even yours. Also, a guided walk in Soho on a Sunday morning may be less savoury due to the remnants from activities of the previous night. Would you want to walk around barefoot? Read our suggestions for the best dog-friendly walks in London.
