River Thames Tour Reviews

Carolyn
Susan, our guide for the afternoon, was extremely adept at being both informative and clear, and in ensuring that we were well informed and kept to respectful guidelines for others , her natural enthusiasm and knowledge of her subject brought such interest to a lovely riverside walk on a sunny and breezy day. Once again Londons rich tapestry of history reveals another layer the ancient alongside the modern.

The River Thames Walk from Blackfriars station to the Tower of London was a very pleasant and informative walk along the river. The leader, Susan, was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and gauged the walk well for the group. There was a good amount of history in a relatively short walk. She was also happy to answer questions and listen to comments from the group. I would definitely recommend this walking tour. Sunshine in October was a bonus!
Thames History walk on a perfect sunny day. Part of a well-being event for a small charity. My colleagues loved being on the “other side of the Thames” having never really walked on that side. We loved the interesting facts about the tour. The guide was friendly and knowledgeable.

Susan was absolutely fantastic nice manner & extremely informative. We walked from Blackfriars to the Tower of London. A really pleasant walk on new pathways fringed with beautiful flowerbeds. Susan showed us some really interesting & historic places some of which were well hidden. Would thoroughly recommend this walk – so different from the South Bank.
