Wonderful walk on a Saturday. If not because of this walk I would never have guessed there’s a canal access at Angel. Thank you Susan for sharing your knowledge and took us all the way to Broadway Market at Hackney. Will be joining Susan for another walk to discover more about London.

The Regents Canal walk from Angel to Broadway Market was excellent. Our guide was very knowledgeable and personable and I learned lots of London history that I’d been unaware of. I would thoroughly recommend this.

Regents Canal walk – our excellent guide, Susan, took us along the Regents Canal from Islington, somewhere I had never been before. This is a lovely walk, very informative, we passed Alfred Hitchcock’s head (Gainsborough Studios) saw some very interesting buildings – both old and new – the Hackney Sharks – then ended up at the market in Hackney. Thoroughly enjoyable.

This was a fascinating journey along the Regents canal. Our guide, Susan, managed to give a clear appreciation of what an important link this was to the life of Londoners throughout its history. In addition she was able to answer even the most obscure questions posed by some of the group. The Regents Canal walk was well-paced , interesting and informative.

Good walk with Susan as an informative, polite and organised guide – the walk itself isn’t desperately interesting but good to see another part of London that is quite new to me. Ended up in buzzing Hackney Market (with a delicious Thali lunchbox from one of the food stalls) and walked through London Fields to catch the overground train to Liverpool Street Station. Again interesting to see how the other half live in that part of London.
